The most common type of printer connection is a "Local printer" connected to the PC, but other options are available.

Choose "Remote printer" to configure a printer located on another Unix/Linux machine, or choose "SMB/Windows 95/98/NT" to configure a printer connected to a Windows PC within the LAN.
